Disney is paying $4.05 billion to buy Lucasfilm Ltd., (the production company behind "Star Wars") from its chairman and founder, George Lucas.

Disney have also announced that they will be making a seventh movie in the Star Wars series which is set for release in 2015, with plans to follow it with an eighth and ninth episode.

"For the past 35 years, one of my greatest pleasures has been to see Star Wars passed from one generation to the next," said George Lucas.

"I've always believed that Star Wars could live beyond me, and I thought it was important to set up the transition during my lifetime."

Well, we'll have to wait to see what Disney create with this...

I consider myself a dérive, constantly wandering. All parts of photography interest me, and I enjoy hearing everyone's story. Hence why I enjoy interviewing and writing about other photographers so much. I will always want to hear your story, but no pretentious waffle please!
