Kodak has announced it will be selling its Personalised Imaging and Document Imaging Departments.

This includes picture kiosks, souvenir photo products, photographic paper, digital scanners and it's outstanding film businesses.

Kodak has been trying to raise money to get the business out of it's debt, they have been selling off more than 1,100 digital imaging patents. They had planned to announce a buyer, but said "discussions continue" and the deal now may not happen. Apple and Google were reportedly going to be rivals for the patents.

Kodak have now announced that it had hire investment bank Lazard to support them in selling it's Personalised Imaging and Document Imaging businesses.

We have our fingers crossed for them!

I consider myself a dérive, constantly wandering. All parts of photography interest me, and I enjoy hearing everyone's story. Hence why I enjoy interviewing and writing about other photographers so much. I will always want to hear your story, but no pretentious waffle please!
